Thank you for choosing SkydronesX. Please read this Safety Notice carefully before operating any drone purchased from our store. Safe and responsible operation is essential to comply with U.S. law and to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
1. FAA Registration & Compliance

All drones weighing more than 0.55 lbs (250g) must be registered with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) before flight.

Recreational flyers must follow the Recreational Flyer Rules, while commercial users must hold a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Starting from 2023, all drones must meet the Remote ID requirement (either built-in or through an external module).

2. No-Fly Zones and Restricted Areas
Operators are responsible for ensuring that flights take place in permitted airspace. Do NOT fly in:

Within 5 miles (8 km) of airports or heliports without proper authorization.

National Parks, military bases, or critical infrastructure areas.

Stadiums or public events during active games or gatherings.
-
Emergency or disaster response areas (e.g., wildfires, accident zones).

Downtown Washington, D.C., or any Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) zones.

3. Safe Operation Guidelines

Keep the drone below 400 feet (122 meters) above ground level.

Always maintain visual line of sight (VLOS) with your drone.

Do not fly over people, vehicles, or private property without consent.

Avoid flying at night unless your drone is equipped with proper lighting.

Do not operate under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or fatigue.

Respect privacy — do not record or photograph individuals without permission.
4. Battery & Charging Safety

Use only the original charger and batteries supplied or approved by SkydronesX.

Do not charge unattended or near flammable materials.
-
Avoid puncturing, crushing, or exposing batteries to heat or water.

Dispose of damaged or swollen batteries following local hazardous waste rules.

Follow UN38.3 guidelines when transporting lithium batteries by air.
